It is unfortunate that USGBC is playing this selfish game. It is obvious that they are in "catch up" mode with their LEED for Schools relative to the CHPS rating system. The CHPS rating system and implementation appears to be more cost effective for school districts than the more cumbersome LEED system, with the possible exception of the Los Angeles USD which apparently can afford campuses costing upwards of $500 million. Wouldn't it be nice if the greenig process was something more than a lemmming rush?

Thanks for sharing this. Very helpful to schools who are just designing and desiring for politicians to help promote environment-love in schools and the communities.
